Elena Alice Fossi, co-leader of Kirlian Camera, has given life to a brand new entity, SPECTRA*Paris, definitely replacing Siderartica. Elena, with a help from her all girl team and featuring guests Dope Stars Inc. & Punto Omega, comes out with her debut album “DEAD MODELS SOCIETY (Young Ladies Homicide Club)” on Trisol Music Group (1st edition late 2007 – 2nd edition early 2008). Classy noir-glam atmospheres, echoes of Kraftwerk/Roxy Music/Human League combined with FUTURISTIC powerful techno-rock strategies, roaring tech-guitars and erotic+murder nightmares, Hitchcock movies soundtracks meeting the ghost of Donnie Darko into a “chic” sequel to Blade Runner filmed in a ‘unexpected’ nocturnal Paris filled with obscure labyrinths… all this goes to get mixed up with those cynical funny COMICS Elena gave life to throughout last months… The multicoloured and merciless DEAD MODELS SOCIETY HUMANOIDS led by ELENA are finally… BORN!!!!!!!!!!!! „Dream, Tiresias!” was only the beginning. A serious shot across the bow for all
those who already saw PROJECT PITCHFORK heading for an early retirement. In
2010, Peter Spilles takes the gloves off and gets down to business: Little more
than a year after the impressive comeback success, the Dark Electro pioneer
prepares for the mightiest strike so far. Seemingly out of nothing, PROJECT
PITCHFORK fire “Continuum Ride” out of their orbit, an album even a genius like
Spilles was unlikely to make.

Hold tight when the living Electro legend takes off to a wild ride through the
space-time continuum, to a journey through the cosmos of their own past, present
and future. Instead of relying on old habits and the reverse gear, the oiled
Pitchfork machine even shifts up a gear or two and refines the unique sound of
their early masterpieces with a surprisingly modern diversity of ideas and a
talent for big emotions that will transform every fervent worshipper of the pre
“Timekiller” era into sheer rapture. Tears of joy guaranteed.

Behind the stainless and admirable atmospheric production, “Continuum Ride”
offers shelter for tormented souls and a hideaway for all those plagued by
soulless Electro commandos. “Beholder” with these smartly marching beats and its
synth virtuosity, the hypnotizing hookline in “Dead Cities”, a gripping salute
to their own past, or the monumental “Way Of The World” which will be defining a
whole scene from now on: This infernally intense Electro trip makes you
instantly forget time and space.

A Dark Electro release that is more monumental, more epic and more atmospheric
is impossible to imagine. The scene has a new reference milestone – and PROJECT
PITCHFORK again sit on the throne. Long live the king!

VARSOVIE emerged in 2005, in Grenoble (France), by the creative output of
Arnault Destal (lyrics, drums, arrangements) and Grégory Cathérina (music,
vocals, guitars) – both ingrained figures of the French underground scene.

Joined by Thibault Chapelat as bassist, the band records a first 5 songs EP
called “NEUF MILLIMETRES” (sold-out) in 2006, in a dark-rock / post-punk style.
In the image of this capital (Warsaw) that, in the middle of the apocalypse,
fought on, area by area, barricade by barricade, historic and personal crises
gather towards an effervescent, radical, melancholic and raw musical tradition,
supported by Symbolist, Decadent and Expressionist French lyrics.
In July 2006 Yan Four joins the band as bassist.
VARSOVIE brings all of this energy and passion together on stage, radical and
effervescent.
The band plays about sixty concerts in Europe.
