New ASP single will be released on 2nd October 2009.
For ten years now, ASP have maintained their hold in the ever-changing music business and have provided lovers of ambitious, superior-quality German-language music with one milestone after another. For a long time, their `gothic novel rock’ has been highly regarded across all scene boundaries and many of their releases demonstrate why fans today still want to acquire music in a physical format: because ASP present them with total works of art, both musically and visually.And so it is now, with the new ASP release.

`Wer Sonst?’/`Im Märchenland’ is a ‘double A side’ single with two incredibly strong title tracks and a multitude of fantastic bonus material. In terms of its presentation, even the standard version surpasses the limited editions of so many other bands: eight audio tracks, a live video of one of the single songs and a twelve page booklet packaged in a six-panelled digipak which features two alternative covers – one on both the front and back of the digipak, representing each of the main single tracks.

For the limited deluxe special edition, ASP have once again thought up something quite special: instead of recording a video, the band from Frankfurt deliver a genuine comic book which is based on an original script from ASP mastermind AF Spreng and which is brilliantly realised by legendary illustrator Ingo Römling. A fantastic adventure to kick off a new comic series from AF Spreng, which is teeming with literary allusions and good-natured homages. An intelligent action adventure!

42-page comic book in the popular format of 17 x 25 cm (approx) Hardback High-grade art print on high-quality art paper Special matt lamination on all printed parts. Both the standard and the limited editions contain the single versions of the new anthems `Wer Sonst?’ and `Im Märchenland’. For the former, you are treated to a duet with no less than Das letzte Einhorn from In Extremo!

Additionally, there are two grandiose cover versions of songs by Trio and The Cult, two remixes from Project Pitchfork and Clan of Xymox, the album version of `Wer Sonst?’ and an extravagantly produced live video recorded at the Blackfield Festival, where ASP demonstrated their strength when they headlined there a few months ago.

Beyond The Veil will not take place in 2010 as we have been unable to secure
a suitable and affordable headline act + the correct mix of bands for the
line-up to warrant spending 9 Months of our time dedicated to preparing and
putting on a totally self -funded independent festival.

We have have set a high standard for putting on new, exciting and exotic
international Gothic acts which has helped build up the reputation of BTV.
So rather than put together a mediocre and lacklustre line-up to the
detriment of the festival’s standing we have decided to suspend BTV.

band with the glimmering synthesizer sounds of the 90s and the power of classic
darkwave. Past and present are perfectly combined to showcase the music that has
kept Clan of Xymox relevant and popular after all this time. With this release,
Clan of Xymox demonstratively returns to its roots while nevertheless remaining
up to date. After spending the past two and a half decades forging a path for
others to follow in the dark music scene, “In Love We Trust” proves above all
that their creative potential is a long way from coming to an end.

GHOST the debut album from (((S))) a true dark diamond unearthed from darkest
of shadows a sublime mix of Post Punk/ Gothic/Psychedelic !!!

((S))) is a mysterious one-man-project from Copenhagen. There are no pictures of
either himself or his studio band. Their music nevertheless creates whole
worlds. The sinister serenades of the debut “Ghost” switches on your head and
set your imagination running wild with its gentle sounds and dreamy sad
dancefloor fillers.
Set somewhere in the dynamic field between The Jesus & Mary Chain, The Cure and
Tiamat the scandinavian singer’s songs touch and move you. “Mezmerized” and
“Fall with me” are catchy wave-jewels, “Naked” and “Dying” full of dark
atmoshere. The faboulous Beatles-Cover “Help” gives the impression the original
was by Pink Floyd.
Floating above it all is the ghostly voice of (((S))), like Johan Edlund from a
far and more “comfortably numb” then David Gilmour. Denmark’s new act will find
a lot of friends in the scene. “Ghost” is the ideal soundtrack to an evening
with wine and candlelight but also an earthquake on the dancefloor.
